ONE LEG AND HAND STATIC JACK KNIFE

TIPS: Focus on doing a slow and controlled movement. Don't separate your lower back from the floor when you do the exercise.

STARTING POSITION:

Lie flat on your back with your feet flat on the floor. Raise your right foot towards the ceiling. Your knee should be extended. Place your hands on either side of your head. Contract your pelvic floor and core.

MOVEMENT:

Push your lower back down towards the floor and use your abdominal muscles to roll your shoulder blades off the floor while you exhale. At the same time, touch your right foot with your left hand. Repeat the movement for the specified amount of repetitions and then repeat with the other leg and hand.
