Seated Leg Curl

STARTING POSITION:

Sit on a leg curl machine. Select the appropriate resistance on the weight stack. Place your legs on the pad with your feet at hips width apart. Your ankles sould rest on the pad with your knees at almost 180º, if it's not, adjust the machine to get it. Lock the lap pad just above the knees to make sure your thighs don't move during the exercise. Contract your pelvic floor and core while keeping your chest up. Grab the hand bars firmly.

MOVEMENT:

With your hamstrings curl your legs as far as possible while exhale. Hold 1 sec. Return to the starting position with a smooth movement, preventing moving weights from touching the rest of the stack.

TIPS: Try to do the exercise in the same range of motion in each repetition.
