STARTING POSITION:

Select the appropriate resistance on the weight stack. Sit down on the machine and place your toes on the lower portion of the platform at shoulder width apart. Place your head on the pad. Grab the side handles of the machine. Contract your pelvic floor and core while keeping your chest up. Push the platform until your legs are fully extended (but not locked) in front of you.

MOVEMENT:

Lowering your heels, bend your ankles until your calves are fully stretched without moving any part of your body while you inhale. Extend the ankles as much as possible contracting the calves while you exhale. The moving weights should not touch the rest of the stack.

TIPS: The exercise key is quality over quantity. The trick is to perform the exercise using proper form.
