Seated Calf Raise

STARTING POSITION:

Select the appropriate plates amount to put them on the machine. Sit on the calf raise machine and place the toes on the platform leaving the heels without support. Adjust the lever pad to place the lower part of your thighs under it. Raise the lever slightly by pushing your heels up and release the safety bar. Contract your pelvic floor and core while keeping your chest up.

MOVEMENT:

Push your heels up as far as you can while you exhale. Return to the starting position with a smooth movement while you inhale, preventing moving weights from touching the rest of the stack.

TIPS: Your head and chest should always look forward. Try to do the exercise in the same range of motion in each repetition.
